Un nuovo Splinter Cell potrebbe essere svelato ai The Game Awards

Nell'ultimo anno si è già parlato del possibile nuovo Splinter Cell, eppure non c'è stata alcuna notizia ufficiale di un ritorno di Sam Fisher. Ma le cose potrebbero cambiare prima di quanto pensiamo.

Come riporta Comicbook, il fondatore dei The Game Awards, Geoff Keighley, ha condiviso un trailer dedicato allo spettacolo che è previsto per il 7 dicembre.

Keighley sottolinea che il trailer non è destinato a stuzzicare la fantasia dei fan, ma celebra l'industria e serve a dare il via allo show. Il trailer include, in particolare, filmati da una varietà di giochi pubblicati di recente, come God of War, Marvel's Spider-Man, Detroit: Become Human e Red Dead Redemption 2. Presenta anche una serie di giochi imminenti, come ad esempio The Last of Us Part II, Beyond Good and Evil 2, Anthem, Death Stranding, Gears 5 e Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

E poi c'è Splinter Cell, che non si adatta perfettamente a nessuna delle due categorie.

Il filmato di Sam Fisher, in realtà, è tratto da un teaser trailer pubblicato all'inizio di quest'anno da Ubisoft per il personaggio in arrivo in Ghost Recon Wildands. Tuttavia, se Keighley volesse presentare alcune sequenze di Ghost Recon Widlands, perché usare immagini relative a Splinter Cell? Inoltre, Ghost Recon Wildlands è uscito quasi due anni fa.
