Hades batte The Last of Us Parte II e gli AAA: è lui il Game of the Year ai New York Game Awards 2021

Hades, il dungeon crawler roguelike realizzato da Supergiant Entertainment, ha vinto numerosi premi alla decima edizione dei New York Game Awards, incluso il più importante, il Game of the Year.

Il presidente e fondatore del New York Videogame Critics Circle Harold Goldberg ha dichiarato:

"Tutti i giochi nominati erano straordinari, ma Hades ha sorpreso i nostri critici in molti modi. Dalla superba recitazione, alla scrittura avvincente, al meraviglioso comparto artistico, alla musica emozionante, al gameplay bilanciato, Hades merita davvero di essere il decimo gioco dell'anno dei New York Game Awards".

Amir Rao, studio director di Supergiant Games, ha dichiarato:

"Siamo molto grati ai giudici del New York Videogame Critics Circle per aver onorato Hades in una varietà di categorie durante i premi di stasera. Vogliamo anche ringraziare i nostri giocatori che hanno contribuito a rendere Hades quello che è diventato".
